AFA is pleased to collaborate with fraternal organizations and higher education associations on programs of mutual interest. By sponsoring, promoting, and/or partnering on a wide range of initiatives we are better able to serve your needs and broaden the network of programs and services AFA members receive.

ACPA Commission on Student Involvement
Each year, AFA serves as a sponsor of the Commission on Student Involvement reception aqt the ACPA Annual Convention, providing an opportunity for members of ACPA whose professional focus is in student involvement, including fraternity/sorority advising, an opportunity to make connections and discuss common issues. Fraternity Executives Association Annual Meeting
AFA is pleased to be one of many sponsors of the 2009 Fraternity Executives Association Annual Meeting, helping to support educational and networking opportunities for inter/national fraternity and sorority staff members. As a part of this sponsorship, AFA will host a booth in the FEA Annual Meeting Trade Show, which will provide an opportunity for AFA representatives to interact with many AFA members and interfraternal partners.

HazingPrevention.Org
As a committed partner in the fight against hazing, AFA is proud to be a Silver Level Sponsor of HazingPrevention.Org, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization whose goal is to encourage healthy and productive experiences for new members of teams, student organizations and fraternities and sororities. 
National Hazing Prevention Week, which will take place September 21-25, 2009, is one of HazingPrevention.Org's flagship programs, and as a result of AFA's role as a sponsor, AFA members will receive access to HPO's National Hazing Prevention Week planning guide. AFA is also a sponsor of the National Hazing Symposium each year. The 2008 symposium was held in conjunction with the AFA Annual Meeting in Denver, CO. NASPA Fraternity & Sorority Knowledge Community
The leaders of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors are very active members of the NASPA Fraternity & Sorority Knowledge Community, and the Association is a sponsor of the Knowledge Community's two largest initiatives. The Greek Summit takes place each fall and brings senior student affairs officers and interfraternal leaders together to discuss critical issues and topics related to fraternities and sororities. The Interfraternal Luncheon takes place each year at the NASPA Annual Conference and is another chance for the members of the Knowledge Community to update senior student affairs officers on the most current initiatives and developments within the interfraternal community. AFA is also a co-sponsor of a reception at the NASPA Annual Conference that brings together AFA members, interfraternal partners, and other supporters of the fraternal movement. OUT & GREEK National Leadership Conference
The OUT & GREEK National Leadership Conference, an initiative of the Lambda 10 Project, is the only conference of its kind for LGBT and ally fraternity and sorority leaders to share, network and learn strategies to create safer, more LGBT inclusive fraternity and sorority communities. AFA was a sponsor of the special track for advisors and staff at the most recent conference in November 2008. 2009 Pennington & Company FRMT Risk Management College
The focus of the 2009 Pennington & Company FRMT Risk Management College is risk management and insurance education for professional staff, alumni/ae, and volunteers of fraternal organizations, and AFA is proud to be a sponsor and assist in bringing a high-quality program to participants.  

Risk Management on the Road
The Risk Management on the Road seminar, coordinated by Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity and MJ Insurance, is an opportunity to bring together women’s fraternal traveling staffs to learn about and discuss the critical issue of risk management in the fraternity/sorority community.
