AFA COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION(Approved December 1, 2010)
The mission of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors is to enhance its members’ ability to create fraternity and sorority experiences that positively affect students, host institutions, and communities. The Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, creed, national origin, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability in any of its policies, procedures, publications or practices. The Association intentionally promotes and supports diversity and inclusion within our organization and works to enhance the understanding and importance of these issues among all members.
Diversity and inclusion are integral to the success of AFA. We are committed to hearing and understanding differing viewpoints and ideas that our members bring to work of the Association, including strategic discussions, the development of resources and publications, and the implementation of educational programs. We seek to create a safe, encouraging, and respectful environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds and points of view can learn from one another.
