2011 Annual Meeting Scholarships
The Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors Foundation is pleased to offer a record number of scholarships to attend the 2011 Annual Meeting to be held November 30 – December 4 in St. Louis, Missouri. Annual Meeting attendees value the opportunity for professional development and relationship building; therefore the AFA Foundation believes that supporting AFA members in this endeavor is a high priority. This year the AFA Foundation will be offering 40 scholarships for the 2011 Annual Meeting through the generosity of our donors.
Below is a listing of all the available scholarships. Preference will be given to applicants who can show a specific need and/or would not be able to attend the Annual Meeting without this support. All applications must be submitted online by August 26, 2011. Recipients will be notified by September 30th. GRADUATE MEMBERS ($219.00 each)
Jennifer Jones-Hall Scholarships: Multiple registration scholarships for Graduate Members, sponsored by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors Foundation.
Thomas B. Jelke Endowed Scholarships: Two (2) registration scholarships for Graduate Members, endowed by the Thomas B. Jelke Foundation.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS ($299.00 each)
Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member affiliated with a campus that has an Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity Chapter, sponsored by Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation.
Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member affiliated with a campus that has an Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity Chapter, sponsored by Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation.
Margaret Anne MacDonald Bundy Memorial Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a Professional Member, sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi. Preference will be given to campus-based Professionals.
Dr. Ron Binder Scholarships: Four (4) registration scholarships for campus-based Professional Members, sponsored by Dr. Ron Binder.
Phi Mu Delta Fraternity Scholarship: One (1) registration for a Professional Member, sponsored by Phi Mu Delta Fraternity.
Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member, preference given to members of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
RISE Partnerships Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a Professional Member, sponsored by Rise Partnerships.
Zeta Beta Tau Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member affiliated with a campus that has an Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity Chapter, sponsored by Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.
CAMPUSPEAK Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a Professional Member, endowed by CAMPUSPEAK.
Beth Saul Gamma Sigma Alpha Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member affiliated with a campus that has a Gamma Sigma Alpha Chapter, endowed by Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Academic Honor Society.
Linda Wardhammar Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member, endowed by Gamma Phi Beta.
Monica Miranda Smalls Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship. Preference given to members of multi-cultural fraternities or sororities.
Sigma Phi Epsilon Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member, endowed by Sigma Phi Epsilon. Preference given to members of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Sigma Sigma Sigma Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Professional Member, endowed by Sigma Sigma Sigma.
Zeta Phi Beta Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship, endowed by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Preference given to members of an NPHC fraternity or sorority.
GRADUATE OR PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS ($219.00/$299.00, respectively)
MJ Insurance Scholarships: Five (5) registration scholarships for campus-based Graduate Members or Professional Members, sponsored by MJ Insurance.
Marlin-Bradley Ally Endowed Scholarship: One (1) registration scholarship for a campus-based Graduate Member or Professional Member who provides GLBT programming and support for the fraternity/sorority community, sponsored by Blake Bradley in memory of Leslie Kaye Marlin.
If additional scholarships are added, applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible.
