AFA has five categories of membership, which are described below. Please contact the Central Office if you have questions about these categories.

Professional Members
(New members until June 30: $99; Renewing members and new members as of July 1: $110)
Professional members shall be those persons holding full-time professional, administrative positions either (1) at a college/university or (2) at an inter/national fraternity or sorority.

Graduate Members
(New members until June 30: $65; Renewing members and new members as of July 1: $70)
Graduate members shall be those persons who are enrolled as part-time or full-time graduate students (masters or doctoral) but who are not employed in any full-time, professional position.

Affiliate Members
(New members until June 30: $99; Renewing members and new members as of July 1: $110)
Affiliate members shall be all other persons who are actively concerned with enhancement of the advisement of men's or women's fraternities and sororities who are not employed by a college/university or inter/national fraternity or sorority.
 
AFA offers a discount to Affiliate members who join as a group. To take full advantage of the group discount, all members should sign up at the same time. Groups may be made up of individuals volunteering for a fraternity/sorority (Ex. the national officers of an organization) or individuals from a college/university (Ex. all the chapter advisors from a campus). An individual can only be counted in one group.

Emeritus Members
(New members until June 30: $65; Renewing members and new members as of July 1: $70)
Emeritus members shall be those persons who have been Professional members of the Association up to the time they have retired from the field of higher education or from an inter/national fraternity or sorority staff, but still are actively interested in men's or women's fraternities and sororities.

Vendor Members
(New members until June 30: $199; Renewing members and new members as of July 1: $220)
Vendor members shall be those organizations, companies, or suppliers of goods and services, either for profit or not for profit in nature, that support the policies, purposes, and activities of the Association. Vendor members shall be subject to the approval of the President. Prospective members in this category should contact Kyle Jordan to have the organizational profile created.
