F90D is Taking the year off for Assessment.
This spring, the First 90 Days Committee undertook a call project to
gather feedback from past participants regarding the content, focus, and
timeline of the program. The call project data provided the committee
with important information regarding the satisfaction and relevancy of
the program for our members. With the support of the Board it has been
determined that the First 90 Days Program will take the 2012 year off to assess the
program to better suit the original purpose for our members. The
committee will collaborate with the new Central Office staff to align
the program with the other resources available to provide a high quality
experience for members entering the field of fraternity and sorority
advising.
Are you starting a new job? Do you have a game plan for success? While many professionals have great stories about their interactions at their first job, they also learn a great deal about what they would do differently the next time around. In response to the transition issues faced by new employees, the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors is proud to provide the First 90 Days Program. This program exists to educate first-time fraternity/sorority life professionals by developing an awareness of their role in the fraternal relevance landscape, building skills necessary for a successful transition and long-term career, providing mentorship, and by sharing knowledge that will lead to strong connections among peers and partners. From setting up an office to developing relationships, this program covers it all.
“Great program! I really enjoy how interactive it is!”
– Kim Cassel, Pennsylvania College of Technology
“The materials provided are amazing! This is something I am going to
recommend to other fraternity/sorority professionals.”
– Dan Faill, Loyola Marymount University
