Dr. Charles Eberly Oracle Award

This award was established in 2006 as The Oracle Award to recognize the outstanding written contributions to Oracle: The Research Journal of the Association of Fraternity Advisors during the previous academic year (August – July). Winners demonstrated evidence of research and included relevant and practical ideas to Association members that support the advancement of research within the fraternal movement. In 2015, the award was renamed to honor Dr. Charles Eberly.

Essentials Award

Established in 2008, the Essentials award recognizes an author (or authors) who have written an article that is thought provoking, enlightening, and provides relevant and practical ideas to AFA members. The winning articles were original work and not previously published, and were based on sound professional practice and/or research.

Perspectives Award

Established in 1988, the Perspectives award recognizes fraternity and sorority professionals who wrote thought provoking articles that were educational and enlightening to the AFA membership. Winning articles were original work and not previously published, and demonstrated evidence of research and included relevant and practical ideas to Association members supporting the advancement of the fraternal movement.
