Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) is a consortium of 43 professional associations concerned with the development and promulgation of professional standards and guidelines for student learning and personal development support programs and services in institutions of higher learning. AFA demonstrates its commitment to CAS through its appointment of a liaison, Dan Bureau, and an alternate to its board, Mónica Lee Miranda. AFA has been actively involved in CAS for 37 years and is committed to helping AFA members accomplish their professional goals.
