Nominations & Elections Committee

The Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) is elected prior to the Annual Meeting per the bylaws. The candidate with the most votes will be the regional NEC representative, and the candidate with the second most votes will be the regional NEC alternate representative. An additional member from each region will be appointed by the board of directors.

In the case where there is no person slated for a position, the membership is invited to write-in a candidate to fill the position. If there is only one person slated for the position, the write-in candidates will be considered for the alternate. Qualified and interested write-in candidates will be voted on at the regional meetings at the Annual Meeting. Should you have any questions about the eligibility of a member to serve on the NEC, please contact Lynda Wiley, executive director.
